Full Snow Moon

Tonight's full moon is known as the Full Snow Moon since the heaviest snows most often fell in this month. I personally remember no one being able to come to my birthday party one year as a child due to a blizzard! So I agree with this choice and the glow of a full moon on fresh snow is quite a sight. But I am glad we won't have any snow here this full moon!

Saturday Morning Tea

This morning I decided to relax with a nice cup of warm tea and watch my Quilting show on PBS. I recently tried to describe my whistling microwave teapot to a friend and so I decided to take a photo as I am not sure she understood what I was talking about.

When I was little my grandmother always heated her water on the stove using a whistling tea kettle. Well, this version is smaller but much faster in the microwave. Suits my style!

How can you be mad?

How can you be mad at that face? Even though I put the pillow on the chair to discourage him and he has his own bed, at least he does not try to get on 'my' chair! Maybe he is sulking because I have been too busy to play lately. Busy sorting/organizing/cleaning house. Spring fever has hit me hard and why not take advantage of it with all the rain we've been getting and cold weather? Having everything neat though just makes me so eager to get busy creating - everything. My project list is so very long right now. But patience. I know the time is coming when I can get back to my crafts.
