My number one granddaughter loves making these fleece blankets and wanted to do one for her cousin (my new grand-baby). Isn't it adorable?
She does it all herself although I help her pin the pieces together. I figure that's only fair since she helps me pin baste my quilts! Then we sit and watch our favorite show while I crochet and she ties. Making memories.

I love this blanket. It is so cute and will be loved by your newest granddaughter. You gave me instructions on how to make one, and I may have to ask once again for them as I have at least one baby shower coming up. Nothing like homemade. You are such a wonderfully crafty family. Too bad we did not live closer.
