Candle Lamps

Here is the surprise craft from yesterday!

Supplies needed:
wine glass
battery tea light
scrap booking paper (we used double sided)
double sided tape
pattern from
http://www.goodhousekeeping.com/home/crafts/candle-lampshade-craft
decorative scissors, rhinestones etc. optional

First we traced the pattern onto double sided scrapbooking paper.

Next we cut them out using regular scissors and some decorative edging scissors.

Then came the fun decorating part. Lots of rhinestones went into these beauties!

Don't these make lovely night lights?

And so pretty during the daytime too.

What a great post and a great project. Now I know how to make one, though what is a battery tea light? I love them and the rhinestones make them look so pretty. Each one so unique. I like the edge of each one also. Your photos sure show them well. Did all of the paper come in one packet? Thanks for sharing such a fun project.

Yes, they have had tablets of scrap booking paper on sale lately so I got one of those to give everyone a choice but now Kristy wants to buy Halloween paper to do more.

They will be great to make for Halloween. I have some I bought already made for Halloween years ago, the same concept and I bet that I can use the battery tea lights as I never wanted to put regular candles in them. I will have to pull them out and see. They have a metal top on them.
