Yes, I do make cards rather frequently. My mother enjoys receiving them as much as I like to make them, as do some of my friends.
These were fun because I cut up some old security envelopes that I received from banks etc. to use as the patterned bands. They can easily be colored but I liked the black, white and yellow.

I love them, the colors that you used are so pretty. One question, what are security envelopes? I have never seen anything like this before.
Security envelopes are the ones with printing on the inside so people cannot see through them. Most bank statements come in them and you can buy them. Look inside your envelopes now when you open your mail. There is quite a variety of designs. Some even use colored inks.
