Starting Early


Well kind of.


I bought this fleece last year but never had time to do anything with it in time for Christmas.
So I set it back in the closet.

I ran across it a couple of weeks ago along with directions
for an easy way to edge it.


So the first gift for Christmas 2013 is complete.
And counting...

Wow, I love it. You did a fantastic job on it. Love the colors and the way you finished it off. Is it hard to do it like this? Is it double sided? Someone is going to love this Christmas gift.

No it is not double sided. It is a single thickness using a needle and whip stitch. The needle went through easily; no need to prepunch holes. I trimmed the edges with a wavy blade in a rotary cutter which made spacing the stitches evenly a breeze! A great alternative to fringe. I think she will like it.
