The green beans I cut up some bacon and put into the liquid from the beans and heat until the bacon is cooked. Then add the beans and heat them. Drain the liquid to serve and then sometimes I add a dollop of butter and crush saltines over it. Tonight I just sprinkled on some sliced almonds. Just a quick and easy family night dish.

Week 22 of the Recipe Challenge
Goulash and green beans were on the menu this week. My family loves the leftovers so I make a big batch of goulash. These are not written down recipes just the kind you sort of throw together based on something you've had or seen or heard about and adjust to whatever you have on hand at the time. Everyone has their own version of goulash and mine is very bland.

I think I would like to be at your house. Your dinner sounded great. I love green beans. What was it your goulash? I have never made it before. Week #22, oh my goodness, I am really behind.
